I can always remember having a strong appreciation for the natural beauty of our world and its mysteries.  As a young woman, I received the first of my father’s well-loved camera castoffs, and my passion for nature photography was born.

 

Experiencing photography as a daily meditation, it encourages me to slow down and appreciate my environment while fully immersing myself in my surroundings.  I'm attracted to capturing unique moments that offer inspiration and create an emotional response.  

 

For over 25 years I've made Colorado my home. My love of hiking and exploring the Rocky Mountains provides opportunity to capture fluid, organic moments in my work.

 

As well as being a photographer, I also express myself as a silversmith and landscape gardener. These offer the chance to explore my love of the natural world from different creative vantage points.
